The HPEC wallet offers a user-centric, privacy-preserving solution designed for physicians to securely upload their medical credentials and obtain verifiable digital credentials from accredited issuing bodies. These credentials are deemed "verifiable" due to the logging of transaction proofs on a distributed ledger upon issuance and acceptance, ensuring a permanent record of the event.

Central to our application is a self-sovereign identity system tailored to each physician user, housed in a secure, encrypted cloud agent controlled by the user - their credential wallet. Leveraging open-sourced self-sovereign identity standards by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) and the Decentralized Identity Foundation (DIF), our digital wallet and credential verification module uphold robust security protocols.

Any credential issuing entity interested in participating and issuing credentials can seamlessly integrate and interact with our system based on open standards. Additionally, physicians have the option to upload scanned copies of their physical credentials for validation through the HPEC network.

Upon successful credential and identity verification, physicians gain access to an exclusive private social network where they can engage with other verified colleagues. This distinctive social platform combines identity verification with a unique self-moderation protocol, resulting in censorship-resistant interactions. Through the HPEC network, physicians can cultivate their professional reputation, foster collaborations, and work towards mutual objectives alongside verified peers.

To begin using HPEC wallet, physicians need to provide a government-issued ID, a copy of their medical license, and allocate 5-7 minutes for the onboarding process.
